The 24 x 1  (25-540) Primo Urethane Wheelchair Tire is a premium solid tire designed to give a smooth comfortable ride and features non-marring black construction. 

Solid PU tyres are manufactured using MCP - micro-cellular polyurethane - which is molded with a "skin" that forms the tread and smooth sidewalls of the tyres. Polyurethane is resilient, abrasion resistant and hard wearing for long life and low maintenance. They are also non-marking and have the benefit of being puncture free - they won't go flat. These tyres are normally heavier than their pneumatic counterparts, and just like a motor vehicle, worn treads will mean that the tyres lose their grip - tyres should be replaced before the tread wears down significantly.
